On Monday, August 29, Huguley Fitness Center will host a Zumbathon to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Participants will have the chance to try Zumba®, a popular dance-fitness class, at no cost. Donations will be accepted, and the first 14 participants who donate $20 or more will receive a special Zumba shirt.
Free and open to the public, the Zumbathon will be held in the Huguley Fitness Center gym from 6 to 8 p.m. Anyone 16 or older may participate, but those under 18 will require a parent’s signature.
With more than 12 million participants in 125 countries, Zumba mixes simple dance steps with familiar fitness moves and is set to energizing international music. The Zumbathon is appropriate for all fitness levels.
