Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South announces that Anne Bullard, RN is the winner of the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses™ for the first quarter of 2015. The Daisy Award is a national program that honors registered nurses for great clinical skill and leadership along with strong patient care and compassion.
Bullard joined Texas Health Huguley Hospital in 2013 and works as a Labor and Delivery nurse. Ironically, she gave birth to her daughter in the car en route to Texas Health Huguley Hospital in 2001.
With almost 20 years of nursing experience, Bullard says, “I love taking care of patients and helping them with their needs.”
Bullard began her career in health care as an aide in a nursing home and has continued her education as she worked. After earning LVN and RN degrees, she graduated summa cum laude from University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2010. Texas Health Huguley Women's Services

A resident of Covington and a graduate of Blum High School, Bullard was nominated for the Daisy Award by her co-workers, who cited her positive attitude, her assessment skills, and her collaboration between the patient, family and health care team.
