Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South will host a babysitting class for community youth titled, "Babysitting is for Me!" The two-day sessions will be offered twice during the month of July, beginning Monday the 24.
Join instructors Michele Wascomb, Community Health Educator and Joe Wascomb, Community Outreach Coordinator for two days of sitter learning and fun. The class will include a certification in CPR and first aid by the American Heart Association. Students will learn the proper babysitting techniques including age-appropriate games and crafts. Also, students will learn various business aspects of babysitting such as how to get a babysitting job and how much to charge.
The first session will be held on Monday, July 24 through Tuesday, July 25 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, while the second session will be held on Thursday, July 27 through Friday, July 28 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
