Twenty-one bears will find new homes thanks to Gordon’s Jewelers at the Parks Mall in Arlington.  The jewelry store has donated the new 18” Gund® teddy bears to Huguley Memorial Medical Center, where they will be distributed to pediatric in-patients and children in the emergency room.

“Those bears have lived with us for a few months, but we need to make room for our new 2007 holiday bears.  We knew that children at the hospital would appreciate the bears,” said Korrie Dunson, office manager for Gordon’s Jewelers.

“Gordon’s Jewelers is kind to donate these beautiful, soft bears,” said Laurie Evans, marketing and development specialist for Huguley Memorial Medical Center.  “The bears are just perfect for hugging, and they will give an extra dose of comfort to children at Huguley.”
