Huguley Memorial Medical Center has appointed Penny Johnson as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the hospital. She will be responsible for the strategic development and management of financial planning and business operations of the medical center. She provides executive direction for many departments, including patient financial services, health information management, managed care, materials management, Huguley Medical Associates and Huguley Home Health.
Since 2007, Johnson served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen, where her professional accomplishments include playing a key role in the hospital’s expansion of services that included a new emergency department, a dedicated Women’s Services Center, neonatal services and development of a major medical office building and endoscopy center in partnership with Scott & White Healthcare.

Currently living in Fort Worth, Johnson has more than 15 years of experience in healthcare finance that includes experience at Shawnee Mission Medical Center near Kansas City and Loma Linda University Medical Center in California.
Johnson holds an MBA from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration Accounting from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Johnson also serves as the Regional CFO for the three other hospitals in Adventist Health System/Sunbelt Region – Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen, Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos and Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas.
