Huguley Names Brook Sandstrum as Clinical Coordinator of the Huguley Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine

Huguley Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce Brook Sandstrum, RN, as Clinical Coordinator of the
Huguley Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine. The center provides advanced wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients with acute and chronic wounds, burns, bone infections and radiation injuries with an average healing rate of 96.43 percent.
Sandstrum manages the daily operation of all outpatient wound care services by assuring that the clinic is appropriately staffed and that all needs of the doctors and nurses are met. She is also responsible for overseeing the clinic and treating patients.
"I feel extremely blessed for this opportunity and couldn't have done it without the help of the great staff," said Sandstrum.
Sandstrum managed a podiatry clinic and raised a family before becoming a staff nurse at Huguley. She is currently in the process of obtaining her bachelor of science in nursing degree.
