Joshua Brown, M. Ed., LPC, has been named the director of the Behavioral Health Center at Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South.
In this position, Brown is responsible for the management, organization and operations of inpatient and outpatient care on the behavioral health unit. He oversees a staff of more than 30 nurses, mental health technicians, and social service workers.
Prior to joining Texas Health Huguley, Brown served 8 years as the director of outpatient services at Allegiance Behavioral Health outside of Lubbock. In addition to being a licensed professional counselor, Brown has more than 12 years’ experience in behavioral health care.

Brown earned both his Bachelor of Arts Degree in psychology and Masters in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University.
Texas Health Huguley Behavioral Health provides a full continuum of care, from individual and group counseling to inpatient care for psychiatric illnesses, crisis stabilization and detoxification from chemical addictions. Also, full and half-day outpatient programs are available to allow patients to live at home while attending sessions for psychiatric or chemical dependency treatment.
