Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South announces that Stacey Jackson, RN, MSN has won its quarterly Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses™. The Daisy Award is a national program that honors registered nurses for great clinical skill and leadership along with strong patient care and compassion.
Jackson began her career in health care as a phlebotomist and has continued her education as she worked, earning LVN, RN, BSN and finally MSN degrees. She joined Texas Health Huguley Hospital in 2003 and works primarily as a charge nurse in the progressive care unit. She also serves as house supervisor as needed.
A resident of Arlington, Jackson was nominated for the Daisy Award by her co-workers, who cited her positive attitude, her compassion, and her exceptional clinical skills.
