Sterling Warren, MS, RN, CEN, has joined Huguley Memorial Medical Center as its emergency department director. Warren is responsible for management, daily operations and staffing for the hospital’s emergency department, which has 25 private rooms and approximately 100 nurses, techs, and other personnel.
“Sterling has a proven track record of streamlining processes to provide emergency care in less time, with higher patient satisfaction. With Sterling’s leadership, I look forward to continuing the positive growth and exemplary care provided in our emergency room with the support of our capable staff,” said Tammy Collier, RN, FACHE, vice president of patient care services of Huguley Memorial Medical Center.
Most recently, Warren served as the Director of Emergency Service for Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth. He has twelve years of nursing experience, including six years of emergency department management. He also served as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy Reserve for eight years.
A certified emergency nurse, Warren holds a master of science degree in public health from the University of Arkansas and a bachelor of science degree in health care administration from Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma. He earned his nursing degree at Carl Albert State College in Poteau, Oklahoma.
Warren is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, the American Academy of Healthcare Executives, and the Society of Chest Pain Centers. He lives in Fort Worth.
