Texas Health Huguley Promotes Bruette to Director of Business Development and Community Relations
Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South has promoted Elijah Bruette to Director of Business Development and Community Relations.
Previously the Strategic Planning and Operations Development Specialist, Bruette will continue to oversee growth and strategic planning initiatives. He has taken on the additional responsibilities of managing marketing and communications, physician relations, grant execution and the Mobile Health Services bus.
“Since joining us two years ago, Elijah has worked closely with hospital administration to improve the overall operations of various departments and processes,” said Kent Tucker, vice president of Texas Health Huguley Hospital. “His aptitude for strategic planning will help enhance our relations with the community and physicians, and he will continue to find opportunities to improve our patient service and reduce costs.”
One of Bruette’s significant accomplishments to date includes collaborating with hospital administration, physicians and nurse leaders to improve efficiency in the emergency department, reducing the average time to inpatient admission by 20% while raising patient satisfaction.
A resident of Burleson, Bruette joined Texas Health Huguley in 2013 for his final year of a three-year management residency program with Adventist Health System.
Bruette earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University in Orlando, Florida.
