At 8:02 a.m. on January 2, Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South welcomed Andrew Gregory, the first baby born at Texas Health Huguley in 2018. Dr. Jason Neef delivered the 6 pound, 11 ounce baby boy of Andrea and Chad Gregory from Alvarado.
"Each baby is a celebration of the gift of life, and having the first baby of the year adds even more excitement to the joyous occasion. What a great way to start out the New Year," said Kathleen Harlow, RNC, Administrative Director of Women's Services and OP Wound Care. Approximately 1,300 babies were delivered at Texas Health Huguley in 2017.
Besides taking home their bundle of joy, the Gregory family will also take home a special gift basket donated by the Huguley Volunteer Services for the first baby. It includes stuffed animals, clothing items, a photo album and frame, a blanket, toys, diapers and personal care items.
