At 1:57 a.m. on January 1, Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South welcomed Abigail Melissa Padilla Huff, the first baby born at Texas Health Huguley in 2019. Dr. Richard Ondrizek delivered the 7-pound, 1-ounce baby girl of Naomi and Justin. Abigail will join big sister Serenity at their home in Cleburne, Texas.
“Each baby is a celebration of the gift of life and having the first baby of the year adds even more excitement to the joyous occasion. What a great way to start out the New Year,” said Jennifer Flores, MSN, RNC-OB, C-EFM, Director of Women’s Services. Approximately 1,300 babies were delivered at Texas Health Huguley in 2018.
Besides taking home their bundle of joy, the new family will also take home a special gift basket donated by the Huguley Volunteer Services for the first baby. It includes stuffed animals, clothing items, a photo album and frame, a blanket, toys, diapers and personal care items.
