TEXO Recognizes Texas Health Huguley New Tower with Distinguished Building Award
Beck Architecture received the 2017 Distinguished Building Award in the category of Health Care 3 for the new tower of Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South from TEXO on Thursday, December 7th at the organization's annual awards banquet.
TEXO is the largest commercial contractors' association in Texas and one of the largest affiliated with national Associated Builders and Contractors and the Associated General Contractors of America. TEXO is made up for more than 300 members who construct and design more than $6 billion of work annually.
"The opportunity to work on the new patient tower at Texas Health Huguley was a highlight of my career," said John McKissack, Administrative Director of Facility Operations. "The finished product is spectacular and I am thrilled to see how much the staff enjoy working in such a magnificent facility. Jason Aboujeib was the lead architect on the project and he and I accepted the award on behalf of Beck and Texas Health Huguley."
The award was judged on difficulty in construction, unusual construction techniques involved, final appearance and quality and timeliness of completion. These awards are recognized as one of the most prestigious awards in the nation. They embody the skill, commitment and passion that TEXO Members have for construction.
