Brenda Gammon, co-owner of Gammon Financial, PLLC, in Burleson, has joined the Huguley Memorial Medical Center Board of Directors.
Prior to opening Gammon Financial in 2007, Mrs. Gammon began her business career in the sales and marketing field and moved into credit unions, where she worked for over thirty years. Mrs. Gammon also holds a license as a professional life insurance agent.
In her 12 years in Burleson, Mrs. Gammon has become very involved in the local community. She volunteers for numerous community events and organizations, often serving in leadership positions. Some examples of her continual service include serving on various event committees for the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce, chairperson of American Cancer Society Relay for Life and board member of the CASA of Johnson County. Also, she is active in her church, St. Matthew Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Burleson.
“It’s a privilege to have Brenda join our board,” said Ken Finch, president and CEO of Huguley Memorial Medical Center. “Her ability to contribute a patient advocate point of view will deepen our understanding of how patients view our hospital. We look forward to working alongside Brenda, while we as a hospital board explore new ways to meet the healthcare needs of our growing community.”
The Huguley Board of Directors consists of eighteen members including community leaders, physicians, hospital administrators, and executives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The board provides guidance and oversight to the medical center.
Mrs. Gammon and her husband, Gregg, reside in Burleson.
