Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South announces that Diana Williams, RN, CEN has successfully met the qualifications for national certification in emergency nursing. With six years of experience in patient care in the Texas Health Huguley Emergency Department, Williams completed specialty experience requirements and passed a rigorous examination.
A graduate of Burleson High School, Williams joined the emergency department of Texas Health Huguley in 2009 during nursing school. She earned a nursing degree from Tarrant County College and will graduate from University of Texas at Arlington this summer with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
“Throughout her employment with our emergency department, Diana has continually aspired to learn more. With her growth and expertise in emergency nursing, she has been selected to help train new nurses and to represent our department on the leadership committee,” says Sterling Warren, RN, MS, CEN, Texas Health Huguley Emergency Department Director.
Williams says, “I want to continue to grow and learn as a nurse so that I can give my patients the best care.”
Administered by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing, the Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification is the formal recognition of the specialized knowledge, skills, and experience identified to promote optimal health outcomes in emergency nursing.
