Dr. Gurpreet Bajaj Installed as President of Texas Health Huguley Medical Staff
Gurpreet Bajaj, MD, has been appointed as the President of the Medical Staff of Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South. Dr. Bajaj, an orthopedic surgeon, will serve a two-year term beginning January 1.
In this role, Dr. Bajaj will provide critical clinical expertise and represent the interests of the medical staff on the Texas Health Huguley Board of Directors. He is able to deepen the board’s understanding of strategic, regulatory and quality issues since he is a physician in active practice. Also, he will work with the chief medical officer to oversee and continuously improve the quality of patient care.

Dr. Bajaj, who practices with Lone Star Orthopaedic & Spine Specialists, joined the Texas Health Huguley medical staff in 2005. Cardiologist Deepak Patel, MD, will serve as vice president of the medical staff, and general surgeon Ronny Ford, MD, is assistant vice president.
The Texas Health Huguley Board of Directors consists of seventeen members including community leaders, physicians, administrators from Adventist Health System and from Texas Health Resources as well as executives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The board provides guidance and oversight to the medical center.
