Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South’s Outpatient Dietitian, Megan Rhoades, RD, LD, CDE invites community members to attend a free community nutrition class on Thursday, June 18. “Fuel Your Engine: Exercise Nutrition” will be held in the amphitheater at Texas Health Huguley Fitness Center.
Attendees will learn the health benefits of carefully choosing foods, so that the right combination of nutrients works as fuel for success during exercise. An outpatient physical therapist from Texas Health Huguley will also discuss the types and recommendations of exercise.
The one-hour class will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend and learn simple changes in lifestyle to improve personal health.
This class, along with other free educational programs offered at Texas Health Huguley, invites the community to enjoy personal health by living the eight essentials of optimum health shared by the CREATION Health initiative.
