Huguley Memorial Medical Center has promoted Jenifer Infante to become its first imaging services liaison. In this new position, Ms. Infante will assist patients who need outpatient imaging services, including mammography, CT scans, ultrasounds and diagnostic X-rays. Fluent in English and Spanish, she will guide patients step-by-step through the testing process, brief patients about each procedure’s expectations, and serve as a reference for questions.
“Sometimes, facing the unknowns of medical imaging can be intimidating. We’ve created the imaging services liaison to increase the patient’s understanding and reduce any uncertainties and worries that a patient might experience,” said Diane Hanson, Huguley director of radiology.
Ms. Infante has worked for Huguley for two years. In her previous position in central scheduling for Huguley, she made radiology appointments for patients and became knowledgeable about imaging procedures and Huguley’s departments and physicians. She has also worked for a private radiology clinic and a dental office in Arlington.
A Burleson resident, Ms. Infante currently attends Texas Women’s University, where she will earn a Bachelor of Science in community education, health specialist in May. She is a graduate of Kennedale High School.
