ABOUT NATE “ROCK” QUARRY
Just 34 years old when diagnosed, the pain and disability Nate experienced put him at risk for losing his career. Determined not to let his condition get the best of him, Nate had the XLIF® procedure and got back into the fighting ring.
His story shows that giving up is not an option for those who want to conquer chronic back or leg pain. Today, Nate is an outspoken advocate for The Better Way Back™ and serves as the Ultimate Ambassador to patients afflicted with chronic back or leg pain.
ABOUT DR. MALONIS
Dr. Malonis, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with almost 20 years' experience, received specialized fellowship training in spine surgery after completing an orthopaedic residency. He practices with Lone Star Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists, a group of four board-certified orthopaedic physicians with interests in spine, trauma, joint replacement, sports medicine, hand surgery and general orthopaedics.
The physicians share the viewpoint to first seek non-operative solutions for each patient. Located in Suite 346 of the medical office buildings at Huguley Memorial Medical Center, the physicians have more than 60 years of combined experience in orthopaedic medicine.
This educational event will help patients overcome the daily challenges of living with a spine condition and provide them with the resources they need to find treatment. Dr. Malonis is one of the first orthopaedists in the area to perform the XLIF® procedure.
Nate Quarry’s book will be autographed and given to participants. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Call 817-926-2663 to make reservations or learn more about the presentation.
The event is co-sponsored by NuVasive, a medical device company dedicated to providing minimally disruptive surgical solutions for patients with spine disorders.
