It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superwoman!
Who can juggle the demands of a family, a career, personal interests and service to others? This looks like a job for Superwoman!
Ladies First at Texas Health Huguley Fort Worth South presents “Superwoman” on Thursday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Texas Health Huguley Fitness Center Amphitheater. The event will feature modern day superwomen making an impact in our community.
Two of Texas Health Huguley’s own superwomen, Dr. Chandra Chellappan, OB/GYN and Brenda Barnett, a certified personal trainer, will share the traits and characteristics that have led them to be super heroes at home and at work.
“The term Superwoman describes what many women today aspire to be,” says Dr. Chellappan. “Women throughout our whole community are serving others while still managing to juggle marriage, motherhood, finances and most importantly, overall health.”
Also, the evening will feature Lisa Schwarz, founder and CEO of Crazy8 Ministries. Crazy8 is home to several different arms of ministry in the Burleson community, including counseling, community outreach, housing for at-risk families and conferences.
All attendees will receive Super Foods to fuel their world power along with a special gift. Door prizes will be provided.
Admission is free. Call Vanessa Longoria at 817-568-5480 to reserve a seat.
Don’t miss the sequel in October, “Superwoman’s Kryptonite,” focusing on the pressures to do it all, coming to an amphitheater near you.
Ladies First launched in May 2012 as an exclusive series of free women’s wellness programs at Texas Health Huguley Hospital. These memorable events combine friendship, fun and health awareness and are open to the community.
