Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South has promoted Russ Weaver to Vice President of Revenue Cycle and Finance. In his position, he oversees the strategic development and management of financial planning and business operations of the medical center. He provides executive direction for many departments, including patient financial services, health information management, patient access, supply chain management and charge auditing.
Weaver joined Texas Health Huguley in 2004 as the Director of Managed Care for the Southwest Region of Adventist Health System, which also includes Metroplex Adventist Hospital in Killeen, Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos and Rollins Brook Community Hospital in Lampasas. He was promoted in 2013 to Associate Vice President of Revenue Cycle, where his notable professional accomplishments include reducing emergency department throughput time by more than 40%.
Previously, Weaver worked for Providence Healthcare Network in Waco, and he has a total of 25 years’ experience in the financial management of healthcare organizations.

Weaver earned a Master of Business Administration from Baylor University and holds an undergraduate degree in business from Southwestern Adventist University.
A resident of Burleson, Weaver serves as a board member for the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce and Harvest House. He is a member of Toastmasters and the Rotary Club, where he previously served as president.
