Texas Health Huguley Hires McKissack as Administrative Director of Facility Operations
John McKissack has joined Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South in a new position: Administrative Director of Facility Operations. McKissack will supervise a staff of 95 and be responsible for future construction and renovations, facility operation and maintenance, bio-medical engineering, environmental services, safety and security.
McKissack has 25 years' experience in health care operations. Most recently, he was the director of facility services for Baptist St. Anthony's Health System in Amarillo, where he worked for 20 years. In that position, he directed a staff that provided facility and bio-medical engineering services to a health system spread over 21 locations. He also managed 28 hospital construction or renovation projects and served as chairman of the hospital capital committee with an annual budget exceeding $20 million.
"John has a proven record of managing the complex facility operations of a large health care system. His breadth of experience will help our campus grow to meet the future health care needs of our community," says Penny Johnson, Chief Financial Officer of Texas Health Huguley Hospital.
McKissack earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayland Baptist University in Plainview, Texas and pursued executive studies at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
