August - Baby Care Basics

In this interactive workshop, expectant and new mothers along with their support person will learn essential skills for caring for a newborn with confidence. This class is designed to provide practical guidance and answer common questions during the early weeks of parenting.

Topics include:

• Newborn characteristics, reflexes, and sensory development
• Safe sleep practices
• Hands-on skills such as diapering and bathing
• Guidance for common “What do I do now?” situations

Classes are held on the first Wednesday of each month, at 6 p.m. Participants should meet in the main hospital lobby.
