Cesarean Birth Class
About this Event
This class is designed to prepare expecting parents for a cesarean (C-section) delivery by providing clear, practical information about what to expect before, during and after surgery. Topics include common medical reasons for a C-section, an overview of the surgical procedure, anesthesia options and what happens in the operating room.
The class will also cover postoperative recovery, pain management, mobility, incision care and signs that require medical attention.
This is a one-hour session intended to support informed decision-making and reduce anxiety through education and preparation.
Classes are held on the first Wednesday of each month, at 7:30 p.m. Participants should meet in the main hospital lobby.
